WellOne has been recognized as a 2025 Health Center Quality Leader by the U.S. Office of Health and Human Services/Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Health Care.
The award is given annually to the top 10% of health centers nationwide for their clinical performance. Health centers are evaluated against a variety of clinical performance benchmarks relating to childhood immunization rates, chronic disease management (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, depression, asthma) tobacco cessation counseling, weight loss counseling and preventative dental care amongst other criteria.
WellOne also achieved the badge for Advancing HIT for Quality. The criteria to earn Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for quality badge are as follows:
- Offer telehealth services.
- Exchange clinical information online with key providers’ health care settings.
- Engage patients through HIT.
- Collect data on patient health related needs.
