6/9/2020: COVID-19 TESTING
WellOne is excited to announce that we will be conducting COVID testing at the Department of Public Works in Burrillville by appointment on scheduled days when ordered by a WellOne medical provider. If you are experiencing symptoms, call WellOne at 401-568-7661 to schedule a telephone visit with one of our medical providers to determine if you are a candidate for testing. WellOne accepts most insurances. The testing is conducted by a nasopharyngeal swab and results are typically available within 2-4 days after testing is completed.

4/8/20: COVID-19 TESTING
We will be doing our fourth round of COVID testing for WellOne patients (children and adults) on Friday April 10th at our drive up testing site. Call one of our offices to schedule your telephone visit with one of our medical providers to review your symptoms and discuss testing options. New and established patients welcome. Our lines are short, minimal wait in the car and we will call you with results (usually 24 to 72 hours for processing).

Some things have changed‘¦.But many things have stayed the same‘¦.We are here for you‘¦To care for you.

We are writing to let you know of some changes at WellOne as a result of the Coronavirus. This is just a short listing of some of the changes and more changes may come but one thing will not change‘¦..we are here for you.
We ask that you do not visit any of our centers without an appointment. If you do have an appointment and are coming in, you will be asked about cold/flu like symptoms and quarantine status. You may be asked to wear a mask and sanitize your hands before entering out waiting area. We are trying to keep all of our waiting areas free of people and ask that you only bring somebody with you to your appointment if you absolutely need that person with you during your visit. Please ensure anybody coming with you is not sick or on quarantine.

Some of our scheduling changes are as follows:
Medical: Our provider staff are doing mainly telephone visits. This is much like an in-person visit but is done over the telephone. If it is determined on this visit that we need to see you in person, your provider will arrange this. We have same day and next day appointments available now, so call and schedule your telephone visit today. We are postponing most preventive exams but of course will provide any needed vaccines that would normally be due at those exams by appointment.

Dental: Appointments are available only for urgent/emergency needs. Our dental staff will work with you to determine if you need to be seen in the office.
Behavioral Health: Phone visits are available with our clinicians.
Our services are available to existing and new patients.

We want to see us all be healthy during this time, so please understand that we may make other changes in the best interest of our patients and staff, but as always‘¦‘¦we are here for you.

Please note that we are not currently providing testing for Coronavirus, as supplies and testing kits are limited. We will be posting updates on our Facebook page.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Due to the growing concern about the COVID-19/Coronavirus, WellOne would like to assure our patients that we are following all recommended guidelines provided by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RI DOH) to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff. If you have recently traveled from an area with widespread COVID-19 and you have respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), when calling our office, please be sure to let the scheduler know where you have traveled and what your symptoms are. It is important that you do not walk-in for a visit without calling first, so that we may follow Department of Health Guidelines.

WellOne is working closely with the RI Department of Health to ensure that patients receive effective and appropriate care; telephonic screening allows us to get the most up-to-date recommendations from the RI DOH regarding the coronavirus before treating you.

After calling to discuss your symptoms, one of our medical professionals will follow up with you about next steps.
