WELLONE WELCOMES NEW DENTIST TO FOSTER FACILITY

July 8th, 2014

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care, the oldest nonprofit community health center in Rhode Island and the first rural health clinic in the nation, is pleased to announce the addition of Kanchan Pande, DMD, to its team of medical and dental providers at the Foster, RI center.

“From its early beginnings, WellOne has made oral health an integral part of its services,” stated Peter Bancroft, President and CEO. “The dental program has experienced double-digit growth since it opened. The addition of Dr. Pande will support the growing demand for dental care in this area of the state.”

Dr. Pande received her DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Tufts University in Boston and a BS and MS degree in Physics from Kumaon University. Prior to joining WellOne, Dr. Pande practiced dentistry at HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River, MA, a federally qualified Health Center where she saw a mix of adults and children with limited access to health care. Her background includes all aspects of general dentistry, including fixed/removable prosthodontics, endodontics, extractions and crowns.

Dr. Pande is an active member of the American Dental Association.
