WellOne Welcomes Two Dentists To North Kingstown

October 14th, 2011

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care, the local community health center that provides affordable high-quality care for all, welcomes Caroline Danish, D.D.S. and Melissa B. Graswald, D.M.D. to its North Kingstown location at 308 Callahan Road.

Dr. Danish joins the North Kingstown team from WellOne’s Foster location where she treated nearly 1,000 patients since its opening in 2009. Prior to her hiring at WellOne, Dr. Danish performed her Dental Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Boston, MA, worked at Danish & O’Laughlin, D.D.S. and Associates in Warwick (where she continues to see patients), the National Health Service Corps, and provided dental service in rural villages in Ghana, Africa through Buffalo Outreach & Community Assistance.

A lifelong Rhode Islander, Dr. Danish graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and the University at Buffalo with a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

An Associate previously at Wickford Dental Associates and Eugene Nichols, DMD, in Pawtucket, Dr. Graswald also served as Staff Dentist at the Rhode Department of Corrections.

Dr. Graswald received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Michael’s College and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University. Although experienced in treating all patients, Dr. Graswald particularly enjoys caring for young children. She is a North Kingstown native.

Dr. Graswald also will be treating patients one day a week at WellOne’s Foster facility on Danielson Pike.

“Drs. Danish and Graswald are welcome additions to our already outstanding healthcare team and will provide the needed resources to respond to the escalating demand for our services by patients of all ages”, stated WellOne President and CEO, Peter Bancroft. “We are especially pleased to be able to offer dental services to very young children, a particular need in this community.”
