Pascoag Provider Honored with Community Mental Health Champion Award

WellOne’s Linda Eibel, RNP, recently was honored by NRI Community Services, Inc. for her efforts to coordinate care for her clients with health professionals at Community Mental Health Centers.
As a leader in behavioral healthcare for 43 years, NRI Community Services was pleased to honor individuals who have worked alongside the agency to provide quality care and advocacy for many who live in our neighborhoods who need services.
Traditionally, the Board of Directors of NRICS selects honorees such as long-time NRICS employee, housing advocates, employment rehabilitation professionals, special education teachers and administrators, elder services coordinators, or professionals whose experiences touch behavioral healthcare constituents in some way.
A nurse practitioner at WellOne in Pascoag, RI, Linda’s Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology with a concentration in social work and Master’s degree in nursing at the University of Rhode Island well-prepared her for her current role. Having practiced for nearly 18 years, Linda has worked in a variety of settings but her passion has always been community health.
NRI Community Services selected Linda as she epitomizes the excellent outcomes for clients that can be achieved when health professionals at Health Centers collaborate and coordinate with health professionals at Community Mental Health Centers. The Burrillville clients and group home residents are the beneficiaries of Linda’s outstanding referral and coordination efforts.
Linda was honored Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Chan’s Fine Oriental Dining, 267 Main Street, Woonsocket, RI as part of NRI Community Services’ 8th Annual Community Champions Music Series.
