WellOne is Recognized as a National Leader in Clinical Quality Care

November 15th, 2022

WellOne has been recognized as a 2022 Health Center Quality Leader by the U.S. Office of Health and Human Services/Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Health Care.

The award is given annually to the top 10% of health centers nationwide for their clinical performance. Health centers are evaluated against a variety of clinical performance benchmarks relating to childhood immunization rates, chronic disease management (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, depression, asthma) tobacco cessation counseling, weight loss counseling and preventative dental care amongst other criteria.

Said James Macrae, Associate Administrator of HRSA: “I am proud to present WellOne with your 2022 Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badge and certificate of achievement. For more than 57 years, health centers have delivered affordable, accessible, cost-effective, and quality primary health care to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Your health center’s efforts are central to advancing a model of coordinated, comprehensive, and patient-centered care serving over 30 million people every year. Thank you for your commitment to providing quality primary health care services to your community.”
