WELLONE WELCOMES NEW FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care, a level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) has announced the addition of Nancy Adler Moye to its team of medical providers at WellOne’s North Kingstown facility, 300 Callahan Rd.

Nancy Moye, CRNP, MSN, MA, is a certified registered Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Advanced Nursing Practice and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Russian Studies from the University of Maryland. She also holds a Master’sdegree in Demography from Georgetown University.

“With today’s growing demand for quality primary medical care, we are delighted to welcome Ms. Moye to our growing medical team,” said Deirdre Denning Norton, WellOne’s Vice President, Compliance Officer, and Site Director for North Kingstown and Foster. “She has a strong background in family medicine and extensive experience caring for individuals of all ages in a variety of healthcare settings including clinics and private practices.”

Ms. Moye has written and co-authored several publications and presentations on a variety of topics relating to women’s health, HIV and Veterans. An article relating to allergies that she co-authored will be published this year in The Journal for Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Moye was an adjunct faculty member at the Maryland University for Integrative Health where she taught a course in identifying red flags of medical care to graduate level acupuncture student. Additionally, she is member of the National Nurses Honor Society, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and an Allied Health Member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy Immunology.
