WELLONE PRIMARY MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE HIRES BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL FOR FOSTER OFFICE

WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care is pleased to announce that Maureen O’Shea, PhD, LMHC, has joined the team of providers in WellOne’s Foster facility, located at 142A Danielson Pike.

A licensed mental health counselor, Dr. O’Shea provides behavioral health care to patients of all ages. Behavioral health services include individual, couple, family, adult, children and adolescent counseling addressing a wide range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationships, child and adolescent concerns, parenting, and substance abuse.

Dr. O’Shea holds a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX where she also earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. In addition to her graduate studies, Dr. O’Shea received a B.S. degree in Biology from Stonehill College.

“I am delighted that Dr. O’Shea has accepted the position to work in our Foster facility,” stated Clifford I. Gordon, Ed.D., WellOne’s Director of Behavioral Health Services. “We are seeing a growing need for the kind of expertise that she offers and I am confident that the communities served by WellOne Primary Medical and Dental Care will welcome her services.”
